Tomorrow Chelsea face Manchester City in the biggest game of the weekend, and the Athletic had a full hour preview video on their Youtube.
They chose a couple of pretty interesting writers to have a crack at the fixture, and both of them came to the same conclusion.
They pointed out that Chelsea’s good result against Man City last season (the 4-4 draw) came directly from Mauricio Pochettino’s direct style of play catching the opposition out. Tomorrow we’ll be playing our new, low tempo approach under Enzo Maresca, and won’t be as able to take advantage of that difference.
