One Chelsea player has just received a rave review from his local media in his home country after a fine display for them on international duty at the weekend.
Chelsea have quite a few players out on international duty at the moment, and some of them have been enjoying some good moments, others perhaps not so much yet.

Chelsea now have three top Portuguese players in their squad in the shape of Pedro Neto, Renato Veiga, and Joao Felix, who all arrived in the summer. The Blues have a great history with Portuguese players and of course a manager, the best they have ever had. So it is great to see a Portuguese contingent back in the Chelsea squad again.
Portugal played on Sunday night, and there was a lovely cameo from Felix who came on and changed the game, according to the local press in Portugal.
Felix the super sub
Chelsea’s attacking midfielder only came on as a second half sub, but he really did make a positive impact to help his country turn the game around and help them beat Scotland.
As cited on X, Portuguese publication A Bola rates João Felix 7/10 for his sub appearance for Portugal against Scotland.
They also had this to say on Felix:
“Good entrance. In the 78th minute, isolated by Cristiano Ronaldo’s heel, he shot and the only reason he didn’t score was because Gunn made a fantastic save. In the 82nd minute, the post headed the shot back. He changed the game.”
Impactful performance.
