England legend Gary Lineker has waded in on a debate surrounding one Chelsea player right now after another former England international dropped a surprise comparison.
Chelsea are just off the back of beating Brighton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday, and things are certainly looking up at the club right now.

Lineker was speaking about that game and was honing in on the star of the show that afternoon, Cole Palmer of course.
Palmer has been praised by pretty much every pundit out there this weekend, and people are running out of good words to say about him.
Former player Theo Walcott has even compared him to Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp, who was one heck of a player.
Lineker gives verdict on Bergkamp comparisons
Lineker was speaking on The Rest is Football Podcast, and he said on Cole Palmer:
“Theo Walcott kind of made the comparison with Dennis Bergkamp, and normally you go, ‘hang on a bit, whoa, whoa, whoa’.
“But I see there are similarities there in the way he glides across the pitch, his vision, his skill, his finishing, what a talent! And he just seems to be completely fearless as well. It just seems water off a ducks back, however big the game, or anything like that.”
This is so true as well, I’ve never seen a player as confident as Palmer is. He backs himself so much and I truly believe this is why he is such a good player, it’s not just talent alone.
Cole Parmer is a nice ordinary down to earth youngster, doing extraordinary and earth shattering things with a soccer ball. And yeah, we’ll be doing the same thing we did when we got Kante, winning trophies.
