Chelsea players in a group huddle.

(Image): Cole Palmer joins elite list of four historical Chelsea players at just 22-years-old

The words to describe just how good Cole Palmer is as a football player are running out, but I am going to attempt to find a load more anyway.

The Chelsea talisman just scored four goals in the first half of Chelsea’s 4-2 win against Brighton yesterday in the Premier League. He became the first player to ever score four goals in one half in the Premier League, that alone is incredible.

Sources: The one key element Chelsea have changed in recruitment specifics that has benefited them massively.

But scoring four also meant he grabbed another hat-trick in a Chelsea shirt, which was incredibly his third already in just two seasons at the age of just 22! Can you even fathom just how incredible all of that is?

He joins the eliteImage

As you can see above, Palmer now joins Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba in getting the most ever hat-tricks (3) for Chelsea!

And the scary thing here is that Palmer has MANY years left (hopefully) as a Chelsea player and is likely to elevate ahead of them all!

  1. Chelsea are are just full of surprises.Like Cole Palmer who was transferred from man city last season. Pep guadiola must be kicking himself right now to have let a player like that leave his squad but maybe Cole Palmer didn’t play so well at city so All I can say right now is top four spot for champions league next year and we need to keep jadon sancho too as he’s found his form again and he’s only played three game’s for chelsea.

  2. So after all those millions of pounds that chelsea have spent on players contracts we’ve finally found the team worthy of winning games.Although we could still do with a better keeper as sancho can be good one moment then give goals away the next I’d have cortois back tomorrow. We also have petrovic who seems to have fallen down the pecking order. Our manager needs to sort our defense out too.And someone please give Cucerella a haircut as its out of control. Apart from that he did play well for Spain in the euros.
