Chelsea have done it.
A 1-0 win on the final day against Nottingham Forest has secured the Blues a place in next season’s Champions League, the first time in 3 years they will be in the top European competition.

It was a season of real contrasts. Enzo Maresca’s team started hot – after losing on the opening day to Man City, they were only beaten once more (by Liverpool) until Boxing Day. But things really turned on their head at that point. From the 22nd of December to the end of February they only won twice.
From there until the end of the season things have been wobbly, and performances not always convincing, but winning 5 of the last 6, including today’s decider, saw the team rack up enough points to get over the line.
Youthful Chelsea break Premier League record
What is particularly impressive is the youth of the team that’s done this. BBC Sport’s Nizaar Kinsella Tweeted out this stat from Opta after the teams for the game were announced:
“The average age of Chelsea’s starting XI in the Premier League this season is 24 years and 36 days – the youngest ever by a team in a single campaign in the competition.”
Incredibly, only Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez and Tosin are over 25 from the most commonly used XI. Of course it bodes well for next season, when this group should improve with more experience and additions made in the summer.
But like most fans, this is not a record we want to break. We want the team to grow older and better together and challenge for major trophies, not just remain perpetually youthful. This is a great starting point for the project – but we can’t slip into a mindset where just qualifying for top tournaments is enough.

How could you suggest of selling Madueke,Veiga & Jackson Rather keep the aforementioned players but buy Gyokeres or Osimhen and a right winger in d mould of Nico Williams or Vini Jr.
Veiga has been doing great 4 Juventus f.c and I don’t think Chelsea f.c needs Marc Guehi as the coach & Chelsea board carry their life put on him as if he is the missing piece but the actual loopholes are lack of firepower(Striker) & goalkeeper.

To the Chelsea Board and Coaching Staff, I’m kindly asking for Santos back into Chelsea XI, give him time to develop and show his qualities. Go for a Striker like Viktor Gyokeres, if not then Go for Delap, I’m seeing Diego Costa’s qualities in him. Bring on 1 defender with Commanding qualities like T Silva or VVD of Liverpool. Chelsea is unique when playing James on Right back or wing back positions. Tell Noni and Palmer not to be too emotional, it will affect other players performance.

The Coach has berated the fans especially some of us that think to have a say in his so-called philosophy in playing football and of course his selection of players in some games. Fans will continue to demand to be heard and the Coach must understand that, even though football is about entertainment,Show business and fancy but the capitalism in it reigns supreme.Therefore winning trophies, endorsements and everything that brings prizes to the club and players and all categories of people that you claimed are on the page with you in your last press conference. The fans have their own roll and they invest the little they have to stay entertained and happy and you’ve got right to undermine them.
I really really appreciate their efforts towards the end of the season, their fighting spirit and energy.

Am glad we our club performed well. It was a bit unbelievable though we had some surprising performence almost in the middle of the season and later performance slewdown but we have manged to do just as maresca promised. I advise to sell ten low performing players and bring 10 best mature players.
I Really think Madueke can be send on Loan , but chalobah never he came back and shown he can defend he even got a call up too National Team.
Jackson I will keep WE need an experience Midfielder that can do Though passes or long passes with accuracy so he can shine

I really appreciate and happy about the performance of Chelsea FC towards the end of the season. You as a coach you know where you need to strengthen. Like goal keeper, Bring in one sharp striker and defender.
Leave those boys to remain in club because they have played together and understand themselves.

Indeed, this is not the record we want to break. Enzo should sign a more potent striker as lead so Jackson becomes as backup. I mean sign a top notch striker who is feared, can score with both head & feet!!! Not this improvisation that those playing up there cannot even dive to score with their heads cos they are not natural strikers.

I’m Monday ajayi folorunsho by name I base on Africa pricesly from Nigeria and I’m icon fan of Chelsea so if we must keep scoring at the front of the post we need a striker that is hungry to always deliver at all times a player like victor osimeh is a great player with a clear vision and always Ready to battle to win any match because when I look at him playing whom I keep seeing is nobody than Christian Ronaldo.
Sell Sanchez? Sell Madueke? I don’t get. These players have earned their place and are starters!!! Selling these 2 should not be contemplated. Meanwhile regarding the ones you want bought, Chelsea is not a dumping ground for Real madrid rejects. Rudigar does not have a place in this new Chelsea. He will rock the boat unnecessarily!
