Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Chelsea are planning a pre-agreement to sign a new striker for next summer in 2026.
The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.

According to Fabrizio Romano posting on X last night, Chelsea are planning a potential pre-agreement for Emanuel Emegha to join in summer 2026 from Strasbourg.
He states that there are NO chances for the 22-year-old striker to leave Strasbourg this summer, but Chelsea like him as possible option for the future.

Its unbelievable how people with experience Can be wrong sometimes. Chelsea keeps signing less effective players. Jackson, Neto, Madueke, Palmer, George, can not have a huge impact against stronger teams, they don’t need to play for 90mins,
Caicedo and Enzo and good defenders, lack attacking abilities,
Chelsea should buy well established matured players, such as Chieza, Guei, Eze,
Nkunku must be used as the main striker regardless of his form.
Jackson is an Abraham type, he is not a world class striker , imagine him against Virgil.
Sign ekitike or sesko . They are young but shows that they can deliver . Good additional to young squad plus sign quality solid center back , one of them Hato from Ajax his versatile player that can play LB and even DCM . Other CB should be ordanez from Bayern Leverkusen his solid and fast . Get goalkeeper too . This team will play too many games , they need solid squad to compete .
Sign Kane,Isak,Oshime and delap,2,5. except you want to disgrace yourself at Championship .
You need experience between the sticks, at center back and the final third, there is no doubt, however you can bring in those rookies as much as you like to compliment the big ones as mentioned above. If you defy the advice of experience coaches and bring all those rookies to face the up coming season then you may regret your stone headedness.

But why does it take so long for Chelsea to sign players after talking about the players they need only to be beaten by others on deadline day?
Chelsea at the moment need an experience goal keeper, CB and striker. There should be no experimenting with these three players, no unknown rookies.

These set of owners of Chelsea do not have the right mentality, passion,tenacity, and competitive spirit of the premiership. They are business men doing business with the club. They buy or build young players, groom them and sell. Zero passion for the game.
