Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has revealed question marks about the attitude and personality of Victor Osimhen are a worry to him.
The Blues are set for another busy summer as they look to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Chelsea face a critical window and could look to fund their transfer business by selling as many as seven or eight players.
Flo has Osimhen concerns
The main priority for Chelsea is a striker, and they’ve paid the price for not signing an alternative to Nicolas Jackson last summer or in January.
Chelsea spent the majority of last summer pursuing Osimhen but couldn’t agree a deal for the Nigeria international, who opted to join Galatasaray on loan instead.
John Obi Mikel has said Osimhen wants to play for Chelsea, whilst it’s unclear if the 26-year-old is still a target for Chelsea.
Former striker Flo has shared his thoughts and admitted question marks about Osimhen’s attitude and personality would be a worry for him.
“I really want the players Chelsea already have to really, really work for the team, be good team players,” he said as cited on X.com.
“That’s what Chelsea need. Rightly or wrongly, there are some question marks about Osimhen’s attitude and personality. That would be a worry for me.”
Chelsea have other striker targets
Osimhen along with Victor Gyokeres is one of two strikers available this summer who take Chelsea to another, level but the Blues could struggle to land either.
Chelsea have alternative targets and have been strongly linked with Liam Delap, who they are believed to be leading the race for.
Bundesliga duo Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike are also said to be on shortlist, whilst there’s been links to Strasbourg’s Emmanuel Emegha.
Whoever the Blues end up signing, it’s vital they get the decision right as getting it wrong could really hamper their progress next season.
Same can be said of c ronaldo but he scores loads of goals and he does it perfectly, Victor oshimen scores loads of goals and does it perfectly wholeheartedly, inability to score plenty goals is Chelsea major problem, Jackson can’t take us to the next stage and can’t make us challenge for top spot in epl,we don’t need an average striker like Jackson in Chelsea,we need a striker like oshimen or gyokeres to take us to that next level and help us challenge for trophies,as humans,we all have our weakness,we all are not perfect and we all have our flaws and that makes us humans
So our inability to score goals and challenge for trophies is not a worrying concern for you as a former Chelsea player,is this where we should be as a club
Osimhen attitude is impeccable. He believes he is a star and is not waiting for anyone to agree nor endorse, and there in lies the problem, the white man wants a black man to be told what he is worth. As I Chelsea fan, I believe this ship has sailed, we messed up the chance we got. Viktor gyokeres is a more plausible option.
Flo is just jealous
