Chelsea are interested in Othmane Maamma with the 20-year-old Moroccan winger on their radar according to reports.
The Blues once again heavily invested in their squad last summer, and made five new attacking signings as they totally revamped their frontline.
The January window is now open, and Chelsea have inevitably been linked with a number of players, although the expectation is the Blues will be quiet this month.
Chelsea interested in Othmane Maamma
Whether any first team signings arrive remains to be seen, but Chelsea are also constantly on the lookout for the young stars of the future.
The Blues have already agreed a deal for 16-year-old Deinner Ordonez, and the centre back will join the club in January 2028.

Chelsea have also been linked with Marseille youngster Darryl Bakola, and it appears another player is now on their radar.
RMC Sport have reported both Chelsea and Strasbourg are interested in Watford winger Maamma, with his profile appealing to the American ownership.
The report adds discussions could accelerate in the coming days for the player who was a standout at the under-20 World Cup.
Maamma has scored three goals in ten appearances in the Championship this season, and is under contract at Watford until 2029.
Geovany Quenda arriving this summer
Whilst Chelsea ponder a move for Maamma, the Blues already have a winger arriving in the summer in the form of Geovany Quenda.
The Blues agreed a deal for the teenager with Sporting Lisbon last year, with Quenda highly regarded as a young talent.
Quenda is currently injured, but he will arrive at Chelsea with Champions League experience, and he’s expected to go straight into the first team squad and compete for minutes.
The Blues have plenty of talent and options in the wide areas, and it will be interesting to see how Quenda does, and if he adapts to the Premier League.
