“Get ready for crazy hours” – Romano provides fresh update as Chelsea push for huge transfer

Chelsea are still pushing to sign Jeremy Jacquet before Monday’s transfer deadline, with Liverpool also trying according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Blues were expected to be quiet this month, but their plans changed and they are looking to bring in a new centre back.

Chelsea have recalled Aaron Anselmino from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, but have identified Rennes youngster Jacquet as their primary target.

Jacquet reportedly only wants to join Chelsea, but as of yet the Blues haven’t made an offer for the France under-21 international.

Rennes are said to want £60m for one of their top talents, with Liverpool also thought to be interested in Jacquet.

With transfer deadline day looming an outcome will be reached one way or another over the next three days, and Romano has provided an update.

“Get ready for crazy hours around Jérémy Jacquet! he said on his YouTube channel.

“Chelsea still pushing but Liverpool still trying.

“Rennes position clear, sell now for summer, they don’t need the money now.”

Jacquet, who is regarded as one of the best centre back prospects in Europe is under contract with Rennes until 2029, and has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season.

Chelsea want to recall Mamadou Sarr

Whilst the Blues are still looking to sign Jacquet, they reportedly want to recall Mamadou Sarr from his loan at Strasbourg.

Liam Rosenior knows Sarr well having worked with him in France, and Chelsea reportedly want to send Anselmino to Strasbourg as his replacement.

However, it’s believed Anselmino doesn’t want to go to Strasbourg, and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.

Recalling Sarr makes the most sense, and he’s certainly more experience than Anselmino currently, but the problem for Chelsea is they need to find a replacement for Strasbourg before Monday’s deadline.

  1. Who ever in the board messing up the players situation isn’t good for the club . Whoever he is should be the one leave the club . Recalled Anselmino and sent him on loan to Strasbourg is disrespectful to the player . Anselmino is proven good defender and young . He can be successful in EPL because he has skills and physical game that he can quickly adapt to the premier league fast pace and physicality . Just give him a chance to prove it . He prove it in German league and UCL , so why on earth you recalled him and sent him back to loan him up . That’s bad management no etiquette and no moral for the club . The problem with the boards signing players then loaning them up with out trying to play them instead of they’re ready for the EPL system of playing . I hope the club respect player’s , I understand paez situation but Anselmino no, they should keep Anselmino and play him and keep Sarr for Strasbourg for respect for the club and people .
Respect player’s and respect both club . Some of the board members are not good to their job , they don’t deserve working for the club and the owners don’t deserve owning the Chelsea FC , they are disrespectful to mankind . Player’s are human beings not animal to toast around .

  2. Probably You Are Correct What You Said Is True. Chelsea Should Keep Anselmino For Christ Seek. All The Time Especially Youngster’s Chelsea Alway’s Sign Them. And Immediately Sent Them On Loan All In The Name Of They Need To Adapt Gain More Fitness And Whatsoever!! Without Using Them,You See That Why Some Players Didn’t Wanted To Join Chelsea. Perhaps Maybe They Will Be Think That If They Join Chelsea Club That Not Up To Month We Will Be Sent Out On Loan After There Selling Come’s Up. OH! WHAT A CLUB LIKE CHELSEA!!!. This Mostly Happened To Youngster’s.

  3. Chelsea Need To Be Care With What They Are Doing, Stressing Players, Making Them To Move Up And Down In Search Of Club To Join. I All On The Board Of Chelsea That Probably You If You Want To Bring In New Player’s Then Move Some Players Out First, You Guys Are Trying To Bring In Someone Like Jeremy Jacquet,And Isarr Form Loan At Sister’s Club And Anselmino Is There Anyway. I Say’s No! To Chelsea Decision Maybe They Are Planning To Terminate Chelsea Contract Of Anselmino, You See He Only Make One Appearance I Do Know For Chelsea In The Fifa club World Cup And Now That He Is Enjoying At Dortmund Having Enough Minute,Plays With Confidence Chelsea Have Now Interrupted In His Career When Chelsea Recalled Him I Was In Tears Because Of Two Things (1) He Actually Missed His Fellow Dortmund players (2) Because He Knew His Is Not Going To Have Enough Playing Time At Chelsea As He Do At Dortmund. To Be Continue………….

  4. So As I Was Saying In My First Comment, Chelsea Need To Avoid What They Are Doing To Young players Chelsea Recall Anselmino, And Also Want To Recall Isarr, And Also Want To Sign Jeremy Jacquet As The Matter Of Fact Colwill Is There But Injured, When He Recovery What Will Happened To The Rest Chalobah,Fofana,Acheampong,Badishile, Plus The Recall Of Anselmino, And Trying To Sign Jacquet And Recall Of Isarr, young Players Are Still There That Will Be Joining The Club After This Seasoni I Don’t Really Know What Is Wrong With Chelsea. I Only Have Few Words Of Encouragement For Them Which Is, They Should Signout players Like:George,Badishile,Sterling,Disasi,Loan Guiu,Loan Or Sell Gittens rather,Loan Or Sell Filip,Loan Acheampong As Well, Maybe After They Return To Chelsea Club Or Chelsea Take Decision To Sell Them Good And Find No Player Can Remain At A Club For Ever Including Palmer. So I Encourage Chelsea To Keep Anselmino And Bring In Jeremy And Let Isarr Remain At The Club For The Rest Of The Season.
