Liam Rosenior seemingly said his goodbyes to Strasbourg yesterday after managing what could be his last game at the club.
The former Hull City manager has been earmarked as the main replacement option for Enzo Maresca as the new Chelsea head coach. And he managed Strasbourg against Nice yesterday in what many believe to be his final game as head coach there.

It was explained yesterday that Rosenior’s appointment to become Chelsea manager has been delayed, but most are still expecting it to happen.
Strasbourg drew 1-1 away at Nice in the Ligue 1 yesterday and Rosenior was obviously speaking to the media after the game as managers always do.
It appears he said his goodbyes

“I know nothing more. There is nothing concrete. I don’t know what will happen. I love this club more than many people think. These are the 18 best months of my professional life.
“I truly wish the best for this club. I don’t know if this is my last match. In life, you never know.
“What I do know is that I put everything into this job. I’ve created some unbelievable connections with the people at this club. We’ve created some really great memories.
“My focus is always on the job that I do. But to say I’m definitely going to be somewhere or definitely going to do something, I don’t think that’s right.
“All coaches want to work at the highest level. I’ve never been afraid to say that.
“And Liam Rosenior as Chelsea manager, that would sound pretty good, wouldn’t it? But Liam Rosenior as Strasbourg manager also sounds very good.”
