Ola Aina has joined Torino on loan.
That’s exciting for many reasons. Firstly, we’ve watched Ola come up through the ranks at Chelsea from a young age. Last season he took his first steps into the senior game on his loan to Hull.
There he really got a baptism of fire, playing a lot of games as the Tigers battled relegation.
While he was in a poor team, his talent was clear, and that’s why the Italian side have come in for him this summer.

We can’t wait to see what he can do in Serie A, with better players around him.
The sad part is there’s an option to buy in his deal. This means that Chelsea fans who waited so long to see him make his breakthrough at the club may now not see him again.
It’s not clear how much the amount is, and it may be prohibitively high for the Italian team, but there seems a good chance this move will be made permanent next summer.
