(Video) – Cole Palmer’s team-mates praise his amazing season

Cole Palmer was named both Chelsea Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year at the club’s end of season awards on Tuesday night.

Palmer has been nothing short of a revelation following his move from Manchester City on deadline day last summer.

The 22-year-old quickly established himself as Chelsea’s go to man, and has single handedly won matches for the Blues this season.

Palmer has scored 24 goals in all competitions with 21 one of those coming in the Premier League, leaving him second behind Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot.

By scoring against West Ham last weekend the England international became just the third player aged 21 or under to register 30 goal contributions in a single Premier League season.

These awards are the latest recognition for the England international’s amazing season, and he joins the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Thiago Silva in winning both awards in the same campaign.
