Chelsea are reportedly now eyeing up a shock move to sign a Manchester City first team player this summer transfer window.
The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
EXCL: Chelsea will try to sign new goalkeeper this summer with names revealed as main targets – huge name here!
The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
Transfer window set to open
We are just days away now from the new summer transfer window opening up next week, at least the first part of it anyway ahead of the Club World Cup.
And Chelsea are set to be one of the busiest clubs around in terms of buying and selling players, with a host of potential positions and new players being looked at.
City player on the radar

According to our own writer Simon Phillips, writing on his Substack site today, Chelsea are showing an interest in Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku.
Phillips says:
‘SPTC sources have learned this week that Chelsea are now considering Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku as one option for the left wing position this summer.
‘At the moment, we have heard that it is just interest and Doku is just one of many players that the club are looking at ahead of a potential move. But nothing has advanced on this yet and it’s just interest and internal discussions about it on our side.’
Chelsea Need Good Finishers Not Doku
Agreed, we need a marquee signing and not good players who are not passionate.
I love chelsea from 2005 as fun, and i believe at one point chelsea will come back to there form,
Am praying for chelsea and let them sign new players such that team can remain stronger.
I’m not here to criticize doku, but the fact remains that we(Chelsea) need a finisher, No9 more then anything else.. even 2 players at that position..

Bro Doku Is A Good Guy He Is Better Than Noni, He Have Speed More Than Noni And Can Create Chance As Well, If Man City Would Give Us Doku I Will Be Proud. But If Jeremy Doku Could Arrive What Type Of Striker Can He Create Chances For. Like Chelsea Wasted Cole Palmer Chances Being Create So Chelsea Need To Recover Energy For The Club World Cup Right. So In That Regard If I Were Maresca And Boehly I Would Like To Bring In Player Quality Player Before The Competition Could Start. But First Of All Chelsea Need To Set Raid Of The Following Players By Selling Them:Sanchez,Jackson,Madueke,Benoit,Christopher,Disasi,Sancho,Felix,Veiga,Dewsbury,Loan Filip,Carney,Lesley,Broja, Etc And Replace Them By Signing:Osimhen,Ekitike,Doku,Gila,Tomas Or Silva His Teammate At Benfica Etc. Recall The Following Players As Well:Petrovic Pls Maresca Don’t Do This To Him, Help The Club You May Leave After Your Contract End But The Fans That Need Him Never Go! Pls Give Him A Chance,As Well As Sterling,Paez,Willian,Dario,Mike Etc.
Well, to my knowledge Chelsea need to bring prayers like Osimhen, Williams, Andrew Santos, and a good Central defender that has leadership and will be able to lead the defenders.
I would rather sterling come back and play..this fella has no end product ..awful, like the kid in the playground that would never pass, footballing frustration at it’s worst
As of now chelsea are lacking a lithium/natural number 9 just like Drogba was during his days and as of now we can consider Bethma,Haaland, or even Tony of Brentford.
Sterlong is old and at the end of his circle, Noni and Jackson are still young, they have room for growth and can get better. Doku will be hard to get because Guardiola likes him, we can see that week in week out. Petrovic can still have a chance, Jeorjensen can grow. So lets be realistic.
Chelsea does not need a dribbler. What it need is a finisher (especially with head) like Osimen, then a goal keeper and two strong defenders. The wingers should always cross especially when they can’t cut in.
